Please join us on Thursday, February 29, at the Bloomfield Township Public Library for an insider’s view of the growing Commercial Drone Industry. We'll enjoy a social gathering with fellow grads from Columbia University and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania while learning from Michael Singer (pictured) about drone technology and how it’s opened whole new opportunities for business.
His presentation will focus on many areas affected by unmanned aerial vehicles, such as reality capture, digital twins, autonomous vehicles, drone delivery, drones in public safety, and drone light shows.
In 2014, with a vision for the anticipated opportunities in the emerging commercial drone marketplace, Michael founded DroneView Technologies. As CEO of the Bloomfield Township firm, he has built the systems and recruited a team of professionals to provide market-leading aerial mapping and geospatial solutions to clients throughout North America.
Over the past 25-plus years as a proven CEO/CFO with numerous operational successes, Michael has run, grown, acquired, and revitalized several private equity-backed service and technology businesses and has led four of these companies through successful exits.
He is a native New Yorker who in the late 1990s relocated to Michigan where he raised his two children and lives with his wife, Bonnie Laker Singer. He is schooled in accounting and finance from the University of Pennsylvania – Wharton School (1984) and Columbia University (MBA 1988). He says all of his tech was learned “through osmosis from many smart associates.
It's sure to be a fun and enlightening evening. We'll gather at 5:30 p.m. for light refreshments, with the presentation to follow at about 6:15 p.m.
