We invite you to join the Columbia Alumni Association of Michigan on Thursday, November 14th, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., for a private tour and tasting at Detroit City Distillery. Located in the historic Eastern Market neighborhood of Detroit, this artisan distillery produces a variety of spirits, including rye, bourbon, gin, and vodka. These spirits are produced locally and sourced from local farms.
The tour and tasting will provide an inside view into the history of the distillery, the distillation process, and give everyone an opportunity to taste a variety of spirits.
As a fun fact, the distillery has a couple connections to Columbia University. One of the owners, Will Boylan-Pett, is a Columbia alum (Columbia College, 2005) and our tour organizer, Alissa Sevrioukova, is a Columbia alum (SIPA, 2014) as well as the partner of one of the other owners.
We will also have pizza from Supinos, an Eastern Market favorite, including vegetarian options.
We look forward to seeing you there!
