Please join us for our second CAA Michigan Community Dinner Thursday, August 27 at 6:30 p.m.

Our first Community Dinner last May at Vadim Avshalumov's downtown Detroit condo was such a success we decided to do it again.

This time alum Curtis Pope has graciously offered to host an outdoor BBQ at his Wing Lake home in Bloomfield Hills (address will be shared to those on final RSVP list).

We are limiting RSVPs to 20 so please respond soonest. We'll keep a wait list if we go over and have cancellations.

We are suggesting a donation of $10 per person and, in the spirit of the Community Dinner, we ask that you bring a beverage to share — anything from a favorite bottle of wine to a selection of cold beers to soda pop. Feel free to surprise us.

Curtis is taking care of the BBQ menu, which will include a vegetarian option.

The event starts at 6:30 p.m. We'll start with a little ice breaker and introductions before we break bread so you'll get a chance to meet your fellow alumni in a casual and fun atmosphere. You are also welcome to bring your bathing suits and take a dip in the lake.

NOTE: The forecast looks great but in case of rain, we've set an alternate date for Friday August 28, 6:30 p.m. We'll be sure to send an email so you'll know if we need to change the date.

You must RSVP and if for some reason you do not want to pay online please put a check in the mail so we receive it prior to the event. NOTE: We have found that the website may not allow you to RSVP if you do not also purchase a ticket online  so if that happens please RSVP via a comment below the event info or email us that you plan to come.
